It was THE fundraising gala of the season, as more than 200 people gathered to commemorate ActionAIDS’ 30 years of service to our community and to embrace our future as Action Wellness.
This festive celebration, held in the beatiful Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, included a cocktail reception with delectable hors d’ouevres, wine, beer from hometown favorite Yards Brewing, and a specially created signature cocktail featuring Philadelphia Distilling’s Penn 1681 vodka, followed by a seated dinner expertly prepared by STARR Catering Group and the presentation of our annual Friends for Life Awards.
Philadelphia 6ABC’s Meteorologist Adam Joseph was our warm, wonderful MC, and the magical evening culminated in an intimate performance by multiplatinum-selling singer, composer, lyricist, pianist, and actress Ann Hampton Callaway.
